HydraGlyde® is incorporated into the Lotrafilcon B material during manufacturing rather than applied as a separate coating, providing sustained amphiphilic lubrication throughout the month without degradation. SMARTSHIELD® Technology resists the lipid and protein deposit accumulation that can compromise toric lens optical quality and comfort in the second half of the monthly cycle.
